MEET THE MEN
BENTLEY - AKC REGISTERED AS "JUDGE BENTLEY BLUE MESSERVY"
Bentley is a tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) whose full adult weight is 16 pounds. He has sired over a dozen litters of puppies and has incredible semen quality. Bentley has several Champions in his pedigree which include the well known Champion lines of Castlemar and Sheeba. Bentley's mother is a trained therapy dog who works with Special Needs Children and that temperament is evident in his breeding. Bentley has an incredibly soft coat with beautiful markings. His coat genetics are aaEess which means he is capable of producing all four color Cavaliers.
Bentley is great with kids and lives in a household with two young boys who love him dearly. Bentley has a typical King Charles personality, an incredibly lovable spaniel who enjoys long walks, chasing squirrels and cuddling. Although technically a "stud" for our program, Bentley is better described by his family as a lovable goofball who has never met a stranger. He brings a solid pedigree, strong DNA panel, beautiful coat and sweet temperament to our program. He is up to date on his OFA certifications (heart, eye, hip and patella).

SIGN: Capricorn

LUCKY - AKC REGISTERED AS "CHAVEZ'S LUCKY CUP OF LATTE"
Lucky is a rare chocolate and tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who enjoys living the Lowcountry life with his human guardian, Shane, and best canine Cavalier companion, Nick (see below). He weighs approximately 19 pounds. Lucky has a beautiful coat full of chocolate highlights and he (literally) stops traffic wherever he goes, as he is so unique.
When not defending his DNA (or explaining that he is not a Boykin Spaniel), Lucky loves the dog park, chasing a ball and flirting with the ladies. He is great with kids and other dogs. He loves riding in the car and letting the wind hit his face as he hangs out the window and is a real sweetheart. In his spare time, Lucky is working on a dating app for dogs so he can meet more ladies. Lucky sired his first litter of Cavaliers in 2022 after passing all of his OFA and DNA testing.

NICK - AKC REGISTERED AS "PEACEFUL GARDEN'S JOLLY SAINT NICK"
Nick is a tri-color Cavalier who carries the chocolate gene. As a stud, Nick is unique for two reasons. First, he is a genetically clear chocolate gene carrier (hard to come by) who can create any color Cavalier litter. Secondly, he has a COI (coefficient of inbreeding) of 30% which is below average for this breed and way below average for dogs carrying the chocolate gene.
Nick enjoys living a bachelor's life in his Charleston home with best buddy, Lucky (see above) and their human - Shane. When Nick isn't hanging out car windows enjoying the Lowcountry breeze, he enjoys trips to the dog park and chasing balls. Nick is up to date and clear on his OFA certifications (heart, eye, hip and patella). He sired his first litter in 2022. Nick is also available for stud services for other litters, including hybrids. His coloring + markings and genetics make for some gorgeous, healthy pups!

OLIVER WINSTON - AKC / FCI REGISTERED AS "ZEDD ROYAL PAW"
Oliver is a blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel imported from Europe as a puppy (where his name was Zedd). He holds a dual registry in Europe and the US. He comes from Championship lines and has an impressive family history which is evident by his perfect structure and temperament. Because Blenheim is a recessive color, when bred with one of our Cavaliers, the litter color will be determined by the female's coat genetics. All of Oliver's testing can be located on the OFA website.
Oliver is the happiest dog we have - he loves everyone he meets, but is particularly fond of his Guardian, Terri. Oliver enjoys making new friends at the local dog park and out shopping. He's also very well known locally as he rides with his Guardian when she drives UBER. He's truly never met a stranger and is a great ambassador for the breed. Oliver has sired several litters in our program and has been a stud for many other programs in the area.
NICKNAMES: Oliver Winston, Ollie, “Ollie Man Can Do”
FAVORITE FOOD: Prime Rib or peanut butter
FAVORITE HUMAN: Terri (Mom)
BEST CANINE FRIEND: I love all dogs and making new friends! I am also a big fan of my feline friends as well.
WEIRDEST HABIT: Walking on my hind legs (always in a hurry and ready for fun)!
BEST PHYSICAL TRAIT: The "head tilt". I like to sit very quietly until someone looks at me and then I tilt my little head so sweetly....."Ha! You thought I was a stuffed animal, didn't you?!"

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We currently have five (5) studs in our program. We offer stud services to qualifying breeders (i.e. those with health screened and approved bitches) or those wishing to participate in our breeding mentor program. Here are the answers to the most common questions re: use of one of our dogs for stud services:
- Where are you located? We are located in Charleston, SC; however, our studs live in guardian homes throughout the Low-Country. We do not ship our studs (we ship semen, but not dogs), but welcome breeding on our 2.5 acres near Mt. Pleasant, SC for those who prefer to travel to the stud.
- Do you do DNA testing? Absolutely. Our male dogs undergo DNA testing through EMBARK and we are happy to share their panels with any prospective breeders. We do not stud dogs that are at risk for any genetic defects nor do we support the breeding of DM positive litters. Our studs are free of any heart, eye, patella or hip defects. We are happy to provide those results as well or you may use their registered name to pull their OFA panels online.
- How much is your fee? Our standard fee begins at $1000. We are also happy to arrange for lower fees when our dog is being used for multiple litters (paid in advance). There are additional costs associated with artificial insemination, shipped semen, etc. but those services are available. We have two local reproductive vets and are able to timely deliver semen to all areas of the United States.
- What if the breeding does not result in a litter? If you have performed progesterone testing and your bitch does not end up pregnant, we offer a 2nd breeding free of charge. We apologize, but we can't offer this guarantee for those who are not progesterone testing their females through a licensed veterinarian.
- Do you have champion bloodlines? Absolutely, and some really impressive ones at that. We also have imported dogs to increase diversity in our program and COI of litters. We are happy to share pedigrees by email after we've spoken. Send a request using the contact form on this website! Our pedigrees will add value to any litter!
- Will you consider AI? Yes, we are open to breeding through AI with a responsible veterinarian. Please contact us to discuss details.
- What color Cavaliers can your studs create? Our studs are capable of creating any color Cavalier (including Chocolates) based on the bitch they are matched with.
- Can your studs be bred with another breed? Yes, we support responsible F1 hybrid breeding and will allow use of our studs to mate with purebred Bichons or Poodles that are AKC registered, DNA and OFA tested.
PLEASE EMAIL US FOR DETAILS ON FEES, TO DISCUSS A POTENTIAL BREEDING, AI OR FOR ANY OTHER INFORMATION ON OUR STUD SERVICES.
